Frequently Asked Questions
|
What are the limitations of the
system?
The current system supports the
maximum area of 1006 pixels wide and
5000 pixels high. This is the
artificial cap that we have imposed
in order to limit the processing
time. Non-DOM related hidden text
found outside this area will not be
reported. |
What browser has the system been
optimized to?The current
system only supports Internet
Explorer. The software would have
been much simpler if we had targeted
Firefox. The Firefox, however, is
not the most popular browser on the
internet so we have decided to take
on an additional challenge by
targeting the IE. |
Does the system miss any hidden
text?
The system is unlikely to miss
any hidden text it falls within
scanned area. However, it is more
likely to report text as hidden when
it's actually visible - a false
positive. As software improves fewer
false positives will be reported. |
